PhotoBulk: watermark in batch App Reviews

This app has been such a life/time-saver for me. Ive been designing my website, Facebook, etc pages and this app quickly optimizes batches of photos. Easy to learn and super easy to use. Indispensable!

This little app does what it is supposted to do. Nothing fancy. So I give it 4.5 stars.

I love the possibility to make presets and all the other niceties. Watermark, Resize options & rename. Rock Solid. Great

I work at a TV Station and needed to watermark my images for twitter. This app not only does this but keeps everything organized as it puts each group of watermarked pics in its own folder on my desktop. It has lots of placement and opacity options which allow you to place the watermark where you want, at the size you want and slightly see through if you want. Good stuff. I created a litle image with our logo and place it on each pic.

The only thing missing from it is to resize the resoloution from 300DPI to 72DPI.

Sometimes it doesnt resize the images. Lack of some basic features, like: - Percentual resizing - Watermarking can be improved (for example by permetting precise positioning of the text). No preview of the fonts while you chose. - Exif Bulk editing would be a very welcome add. In the end, its cheap, its easy, but not worth it.

Love this app, makes life so much easier!

This app is simple and easy to use. My only complaint is inconsistency in watermark when a picture has been cropped or resized before being watermarked. Hope there may be a fix for this. Would give 5 stars if that can be fixed. It would also be nice for the water mark to go lighter or darker depending on the photo or have a white or black border around the letters. Picasa does this and it really helps you to see a text watermark more clearly, but I like the ease of this app over Picasa. Overall, works great for my needs.

I use this for bulk resizing and formatting images sent to me by clients for web design. It works perfectly. It’s fast, easy to use and navigate and lightweight. I use it every day.

This app is great. Its simple and effective and does everything it says. It is especially useful when uploading bunches of images on your website or blog!

I want a refund. Drag images in and then only option is to clear them! This should be WAY easy. It is not.

I want the option to be able to save at original file size. As it saves it now it automatically saves it at half the original file size. I looked all over the place to see if I could save it at original and could not find it. Other than that this app is great but useless to me right now.

I used to use ReSizeIt but the developer stopped updating it so I was thrilled to see PhotoBulk only $1. This great app lets you watermark, resize, optimize and rename with drag and drop functionality and preview capable. Love it, can’t imagine life without it. Couple of feature requests for future versions: 1 - Turn on the EYE preview on by default. Make it a pane with a progress bar so you can keep tabs on batch processing. 2 - Allow a combination of watermarks ex: (Image, text & time stamp) (UI like Automator or Apple Mail Rules). 3 - Change term “Script” in watermark to Tile or Repeated. Having live preview would help users figure it out. 4 - Resize needs ability to specify file size in MB. Websites that reject photos for beeing too large will specify a file size that images need to be resized to. Being able to specify it is a lot better than doing the pixel math or scaled reduction feature. 5 - Bulk Rename should have an append option. Sometimes I just want to add a prefix or a suffix to the current name. 6 - In App Purchase Option for more features like: Meta Tags, EXIF editing, etc. 7 - Ability to not have the app create a folder everytime it saves. Sometimes I like to run multiple batches into a single folder and don’t want to worry about subfolders. Keep up the great work! Very useful tool that saves me time from using Photoshop or Automator!

I run a Facebook page with close to 200k users so I’m watermarking more than a hundred photos a week. This app is fantastic! I also use it for creating memes with a short text length. It even resizes WHILE it watermarks. Never seen any app easier to use and believe me I’ve purchased a ton of them. It’s really really easy…the only reason to read the instructions is so you’ll realize (like me) that this thing does all kids of cool stuff. Lastly…I never leave reviews. I’m over critical of just about everything I buy. These guys did a great job. BUY THIS ONE! Lastly….to the developers I would gladly pay $10 for an app like yours that also incorporated the suggestions left by RipTide360. Keep up the good work!

I bought this in light of the rave reviews. Disappointingly it just doesnt work. Sounded so simple, just drag and drop images into the designated box, and watermark, in bulk. However, it is very hit and miss as to whether images will drop into the box, and even then only 1 in 10 will watermark, ie only 1 in 10 trying one by one, not even in bulk. I contacted support - no phone support, only e-mail with a 24-hour response. Admittedly they tried to help, but wanted all sorts of technical information, and then for me to install another program so that I could video what happened when images would not drop into the box! My explanation that images just wouldn’t drop into the box was clearly not sufficiently technical. At that point I wrote the cost off to experience. I suspect this app needs more work. It certainly isn’t as fool proof as one is led to believe. A pity, I wanted it work.

I use this for watermarking pictures and its very easy to figure out and use. I wish the watermark would be saved so when I reopen the app I wouldnt have to enter the same information every time. Apart from that its perfect for what I need.

It does it job well with very little fanfare. Which is what I want when I’m trying to pump out a bunch of images with a watermark and resized for the web. And it saves presets (which can be a bit confusing and you’ll end up accidently overwriting them a lot until you get the hang out it). There’s not much more to say really. You drag and drop, choose your settings and voila.

I use this application to resize groups of photos and add watermarks. I like the fact that its really user friendly and does exactly what they said it would do!

I bought this and don’t know how to use it. Does this not come with instructions?!!
